About the role:

  • To deliver outreach services to families promoting access for service users and

  • Promoting carer, service user and community involvement
  • Providing advocacy for access to partnership services
  • Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination
  • To adhere to policies and processes in delivery of services - particularly lone working and health and safety related to working with complex service users.
  • To undertake focused work with families of interest.
  • To provide rapid and flexible interventions where required to meet the needs of the service users.

About you:

  • Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field
  • Experience of safeguarding and working in the substance misuse field.
  • Knowledge of the issue facing families where substance misuse is present.
  • Good knowledge of local community based support practices.
