About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Engineer to join our client on a long-term project based in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional with an electrical background to work within a highly regulated and rewarding environment.

As a Construction Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the installation, modification, maintenance, repair, testing, and trials of various systems. You’ll be part of a dedicated team, ensuring project milestones are achieved safely and efficiently.

Key Requirements:
  • Security Clearance: Minimum SC Clearance is essential; candidates must be willing to undergo DV Clearance.

  • Qualifications:

    • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)

    • CSCS Gold Card

  • Background:

    • Must be a qualified Electrician who has moved into a Project Engineer role

    • Previous experience within the nuclear sector is highly desirable

Desirable Skills & Certifications:
  • Membership of an appropriate technical/professional body

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate

This role offers the opportunity to work on site, on complex and challenging construction projects in a highly regulated industry sector. The working pattern is a 9 day fortnight working 75 hours over a two week period.
