We are searching for a System Administrator to join an innovative and forward-thinking provider of fleet and asset management software.

  • Up to £40,000pa, dependent on experience
  • Tamworth Office - Hybrid Flexibility Available

  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + 1 extra day each year (up to 35 days)

Reporting directly into the IT Director your Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • User Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various systems and applications.

  • Laptop Management: Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of company laptops, ensuring all devices are up-to-date and secure.

  • Server Management: Maintain and optimise the server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and ongoing monitoring.

  • Network Management: Ensure the reliability and security of the network, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

  • SAM Management: Handle Software Asset Management (SAM) tasks, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and optimising software usage.

  • Anti-virus Management: Implement and manage anti-virus solutions to protect the company’s digital assets from malware and other threats.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Expert level knowledge of Windows systems administration.

  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server administration.

  • Expertise in multi-layered network design and management.

  • Competence in administering Microsoft 365 environments.

  • Experience with SAN management, specifically PowerStore.

  • Previous experience in software management and licensing

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems.

  • Experience with Ubiquiti network devices and solutions.

  • Relevant certification i.e. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
