Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Tamworth
Shifts: Four Shift rotation – Mon – Fri
Salary: £42,000 +
The Company
I am proud to announce I am working with one of the largest parcel distributors in the world. Currently they are going through a growth phase across the UK. With a world wide operation they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join one of their well established site, going through a recent investment of £2 million to help modernise the site. Working on this site will allow you to work on some of the latest technology and automation in a fast moving fully automated environment.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer you will:
- Be working in a highly automated fast moving environment as the site can perform to a volume 43,000 parcels an hour
- Working on various equipment including Various conveyor systems, electrical and mechanical components, sorters and more
- Working electrically on three phase motors, Control Panels, Sensors, Relays, Inverters
- Working mechanically on bearings, belts, motors, rollers, gearboxes, drives
- Join a team on shift including a supervisor, technicians and fellow engineers
The Engineer
In a Maintenance Engineer we are looking for:
- An engineer that can work mechanically but is a specialist within electrical engineering
- A recognised Level 3 engineer qualification
- Being able to perform under high pressure scenarios and hit KPIs set on the site
