Job Title: SEN Nurture Teacher

Location: Tiverton

Company Overview: The Supply Register are a managed service working alongside 4 large multi academy trusts within Devon & Cornwall.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Secondary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, a passion for teaching, and the ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of student needs and learning styles.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to actively engage students in the learning process.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and collaboration.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to provide feedback and support.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay informed about current educational practices and trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching in secondaryy education settings is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
