The Company

My client are a well-established UK manufacturer, of aluminium bifold doors and windows.

Work in the trade (residential and counters) and commercial sector, selling to installers, fabricators and contractors.

The company is run by an affable director, who has developed a robust company with a solid reputation, with strong growth plans in place.

The Role - Area Sales Manager / Business Development

My client are is looking for a proactive Area Sales/Business Development Manager, to target Trade and Residentual clients, in the South West.

This role can be remote, with visits to clients.

Your client locations to focus on will range from  *GL- EX- TR* postcode areas.

The BDM/Sales professional will be responsible for developing new business relationships with key decision-makers and driving sales growth to achieve the company’s revenue and profit targets.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales or consultative sales and extensive experience in the windows/door industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new clients, building relationships, and closing new business
  • Building strong rapport, and winning repeat business
  • Developing and executing a business development strategy to meet sales targets
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, products, and competitors to leverage those insights and help inform company strategy
  • You will be extremely motivated and have a passion for making sales.

Salary:

Basic salary = £30,000 + travel allowances + uncapped commission, with an OTE of £55,000 - £80,000 in your first year, depending on performance.
