Remuneration: £25,000 - £35,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the CAD Designer – Architectural and Structural Steelwork will involve:
·Estimator position dealing with a range of architectural and structural steelwork projects such as primary, secondary, canopies, balconies, balustrades, gates, fences, stairs, staircases, steel frames, and mezzanines
- Reading and interpreting Structural Engineer & Architect’s drawings
- 3D CAD Modelling using Creo 7 Parametric
- Completing General Assembly drawings, part drawings and site drawings
- Liaising with clients, structural engineers, architects, and fabricators
- Amending design information and raising variation of services where required
- Working on projects varying in value from £50k to £3m
The ideal applicant will be CAD Designer – Architectural and Structural Steelwork with:
·Must have experience using computer aided design (CAD) software
·Ideally will have experience of Structural / Architectural Steelwork detailing using Advanced Steel or Tekla
·Ideally experienced with architectural metal, steelwork, steel fabrication, balconies, balustrades, gates, fences, stairs, staircases, steel frames, and mezzanines
·Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
·Must be an outgoing character who will be an integral part of the team
·IT literate (Microsoft Office)
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
