Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Near Taunton - Permanent
Acorn by Synergie are recruiting a multi skilled Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineer for their client in Wellington near Taunton.
Hours of work
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday rotating shift 6.00am to 2.00pm and 2.00pm to 10.00pm.
All breaks are paid, and overtime is available paid at enhanced rates.
Salary
£48,000 per annum which equates to an hourly rate of pay range of £23.07 per hour
The Role
Working in a small engineering team reacting to machine breakdowns, planned maintenance focusing on the mechanical and electrical functions of the machinery used. Sssisting with continuous improvements, which include the installation of new machinery and changes to the factory layout.
You must hold a City and Guilds HNC or HND equivalent qualification. The role will involve mainly mechanical experience, but there will still be an element of electrical work to be carried out. Dealing with repairs and breakdowns. Fault finding and finding the solutions to problems which will include making and repairing parts. PAT Testing the equipment and machinery.
There is progression with the role, so it would suit someone who has supervisory and work planning and scheduling experience.
