Butler Rose are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a business in the Welllington area who have a current requirement for a Quality Coordinator.

The Role

The tole is wide ranging in scope, but will primarily ensure that the internal QMS processes and procedures comply with the requirements of business standard ISO9001 and the companies customer requirements. Ensuring manufactured products repairs have been correctly processed through internal business functions to meet high standards of quality.

This is an excellent opportunity either for an experienced Quality professional looking to join a growing business with a great work culture, or someone with quality experience looking to take a step up in their career.

Duties include:

  • Verify internal processes to ensure they meet the requirements of ISO9001 and business goals.
  • Monitoring and reporting on all activities, processes, and procedures.
  • Determining data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans as required.
  • Develop the current QMS including document control to ensure business processes are accurate, followed and correctly revision controlled.
  • Performing regular production inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality requirements.
  • Support warehouse functions with the inspection of critical and prototype components.
  • Carry out supplier audits to verify conformity of requirements.
  • Manage internal audit schedule and audit team in carrying out internal process audits, making recommendations for improvement as required.
  • Represent the Company's quality management during customer audits and customer facing project meetings.
  • Verify internal information used for manufacture whilst ensuring customer requirements are met before issuing Certificates of Conformity's.
  • Lead the correct application of concessions.
  • Lead control of NCR's and customer complaints ensuring that responses are timely and robust.
  • Lead root-cause analysis investigations for quality incidents as directed.
  • Develop and report monthly KPI's based on quality escapes.
  • Work with the Business Improvement Manager on the roll out and progress of ongoing continual improvement projects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Quality Management Systems including ISO9001
  • Good understanding of MS Office Suite: MS Word, MS Excel.
  • Experience of manufacturing processes.
  • Previous experience within quality control/inspection.
  • Root cause analysis procedures.
  • Previous experience of auditing.
  • Experience of working with ERP/MRP systems.
