Your new companyYour new company is a well-established family owned business, specialising in Petrol Forecourt construction. They are looking for a candidate with a civil engineering background to join the commercial team as a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator. Your new role
- To work as a member of the team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget to a very high standard.
- CVR reporting
- Prepare cost estimates, including labour, materials, equipment, and overhead expenses.
- Sub contractor management of payments / accounts
- Review of commercial gains / losses available to ensure commercial success of the project
- Work closely with the site team, client and professional consultants to understand the progress of the project
- Procurement and management of the supply chain
What you'll need to succeed
- Professional Qualification
- Prior experience delivering Groundworks / Civil Engineering projects
- Strong procurement skills
- Ability to compile a CVR
- Excellent IT, analytical and communication skills#
What you'll get in return
- Salary - £50k - £60k
