Customer Support Coordinator

  • Permanent role
  • Telford- Halesfield
  • Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
  • Salary up to £30k plus benefits

The role:

Customer Support Coordinator will work alongside a business sales manager, and in partnership with key operational teams, will achieve the business plan targets through implementation of trade marketing and product management.

The responsibilities:

  • Coordination and effective execution of feasible Existing Product Development (EPD) & New Product Development (NPD) launches internally and with external customers on time, and to specification and to budget
  • Delivering plans to optimise private label performance to the sales team in line with agreed budgets
  • Creating and delivering regular reviews of the product landscape and building action plans that include quality testing of products
  • Creating and delivering category insight plans for customers in which clear growth opportunities are identified
  • Managing customer complaints including plans to reduce key complaint areas
  • Developing and preparing presentations for customers, product meetings and trade fairs, as necessary
  • Actively participating in the customer tender process with sales teams
  • Supporting customer audits and leading the delivery of all follow up actions
  • Supporting business sales manager with forecasting, costing process, stock management, sales analysis internally and for the customer.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous marketing / product development experience within a FMCG organisation
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to interface effectively with internal and external customers
  • Commitment to working as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining a high level of data accuracy
  • Good English business skills
  • Excellent project management skills, with demonstrable ability to manage varying tasks through to completion.
