They're now looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team, tasked with conceptualising and engineering low-voltage power systems, with a focus on industrial drive systems, power conversion, and power generation applications.

What you'll do

• Understanding and capturing client needs and requirements.
• Electrical concept design and definition.
• Conducting detailed design studies and calculations.
• Establishing requirements and functional specifications for purchased systems and components i.e. motors, drives, switchboards, transformers, energy storage, and cabling.
• Collaborating with the Hardware Design team and assessing detailed designs
• Managing the Technical Construction File.
• Conducting Factory Acceptance Testing.
• Commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing
• Adhering to pertinent industry regulations, client requirements, and internal standards.
• Achieving project milestones
• Advocating for and contributing to continuous improvement.
• Providing guidance to junior engineers.
• Undertaking other tasks as needed.

What you'll need

• Minimum BEng/BSE or Level 6 Apprenticeship in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years industry experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical control systems, low-voltage power supply, distribution, power conversion and generation concepts.
