About the Role:

As a Humanities teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in History, Geography, and RE to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking department that is committed to inspiring a love of learning in all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Humanities subjects ?
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events that promote the Humanities

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent ?
  • Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, and RE
  • Experience teaching Humanities at the secondary school level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ?
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice
