Ofsted Registered Manager
Location: Telford
Salary: Up to £45,000
Residential care for young people aged 10 to 25 with complex emotional, psychological, and developmental needs.
Servisource are seeking an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead one of our children’s homes, ensuring high-quality care in line with care plans, objectives, standards, policies, and procedures. This senior role requires professionalism, competence & leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Deputy Managers, Team Leaders, and Residential Support Workers.
- Conduct referral assessments, placements, and admissions.
- Maintain staff rotas and provide emergency out-of-hours cover.
- Identify and address care and training needs.
- Oversee care processes, including risk assessments and care plans.
- Maintain compliance with safeguarding protocols and statutory legislation.
- Conduct quality reviews and manage inspections.
- Foster good community relationships.
Skills & Knowledge:
Essential:
- Diploma Level 5 Leadership & Management.
- Supervisory experience in a relevant care environment.
- Strong management and IT skills.
Desirable:
- Registered Manager’s Award or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Attitudes:
- Commitment to safeguarding, promoting diversity, confidentiality, and continuous development.
Person Specification: Ideal candidates will have experience supervising staff supporting children with learning difficulties and complex needs, and a creative approach to managing behaviors.
