Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

The Role:

Ablebox are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and flexible multi-skilled engineer with a “can-do” attitude to join the team and contribute to the future success of the business.

This is a new role due to exceptional growth & investment in our manufacturing sites, responsibilities include:

·Carrying out PPM tasks

·Carry out general maintenance tasks

·Contributing towards continuous improvement and development projects

·Overhauling assets and replacing part according to a planned maintenance schedule

·Responding immediately to machinery breakdowns to ensure line efficiencies are minimised

·Pay starting from £45k pa + Overtime at x1.5

·Additional ‘Shift Premium’ paid up to 150%

The Candidate:

·Highly Flexible – This role involves working Weekend Shifts/Day Shifts/Night Shifts

·Completed an Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent

·Good mechanical capabilities and good fault finding electrical capabilities

·Enthusiastic, always wanting to learn and improve

·Smart working with a fast tempo

·Excellent communicator and able to work well within a team

·Health & Safety Aware or IOSH Trained

Location:

The role will be primarily based from our manufacturing site in Henstridge with the occasional need to work from our Yeovil & Sherborne sites when required.
