Based in Tewkesbury, my client is looking to recruit a Semi Skilled CNC Miller to join the expanding team.
Ideally the position would suit somebody who is capable of setting and operating a mill with fanuc controls.
The type of work is high precision complex component parts.
Main Duties:
- Read & understand a 2D drawing[views and tolerancing]
- Edit machine offsets or change cutters/tips and re -inspect next item produced
- Set up and operate CNC MILL or MILL/TURN
- Inspect own work to drawing
- Fully fixture and tool[cutters] to produce component to drawing
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in milling or turning
- Experience in minor machine/offset edits
- Experience of setting & operating CNC milling or mill/turn machines
- Experience of working to engineering drawings or work instructions[Job Cards]
- Knowledge of Aerospace Quality or similar[oil & gas]
Location: Tewkesbury
Hours: 39 hours per week
Salary: £14.80 - £16.80 per hour
