Our client has over 20 years of experience specialising in the supply of large plant to contractors, civil engineers, groundwork contractors, builders and other commercial clients. They are now looking for a Small Tools Service Technician in their Tewkesbury depot due to the growth of the business.
Successful candidates will service products such as Stihl saws, breakers, Wacker plates, trench rammers, concrete mixers, compressors, generators, grinders, sanders and garden equipment.
Small Tools Service Technician Position Overview
- Carrying out of inspections, servicing and repairs to our small tools and equipment fleet along with Hand Arm Vibration testing in due course, PAT testing (training would be provided).
- Performing PDI's
- Completion of relevant paperwork and records.
- Fault Finding on diesel/ petrol powered and electrical tools
- Communicating effectively with customers
- Working independently and also part of a team
Small Tools Service Technician Position Requirements
- 3+ years experience in a similar position, either from an agriculture, plant & tool or mechanical background.
- Computer literate
Small Tools Service Technician Position Remuneration
- Salary: 12- 13 an hour
- Working hours: 42.5 hours a week (Monday- Friday 7:30am- 5pm)
- Overtime available at 1.5x hourly rate.
- Holiday Package: 23 days + 8BH
- PPE and all corporate workwear provided
