Job purpose:

Delighted to be supporting a long-standing client in their search for a Workshop Technician. My client operates globally, and this could be a true career move for the right candidate.

The principal purpose of this role is to prep equipment within the workshop, install, operate and de-rig the equipment on site.

You’ll be based in Tewkesbury, but this role will involve travel across UK and the globe.

Full training on and off-site will be provided.

What will you be doing?

  • Accurate preparation and stock and equipment
  • Assist and support internal IT requirements, equipment, and staff support
  • Onsite client support, operation, installation
  • Assisting and training clients in the use of equipment
  • Work to specific procedures, maintaining efficient processes for equipment preparation and return of the equipment within the workshop
  • Maintain safe working environment in accordance with Health and Safety regulations

What skills and experience will you need?

  • Willing to work weekday & weekend overtime when requested, sometimes at short notice
  • Minimum age of 21 with full driving license
  • Full current passport
  • Good inter-personal skills
  • Pro-active, flexible, can-do approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines unsupervised on a day-to-day basis.
  • IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
