Supply Teacher Needed – Thame

Supply Desk are looking for a Supply Teacher in the area of Thame, who has a passion for teaching and is able to motivate a classroom to learn. If you are looking for flexibility then supply work is the way to go! There is no planning, no long hours and you get to experience working in other environments.

To be successful you must:

• Have previous experience working in a school environment
• Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
• Have an updated DBS (this can be arranged if not up-to-date)
• Be open to different year groups
• Be confident meeting new people and working in different environments
• Have a strong work ethic and a passion for teaching
• Have good behaviour management
• Good knowledge of the National curriculum

Your role:

• Ensuring students consistently receive high-quality education while monitoring their progress.
• Following and implementing the school's policies and procedures daily.
• Providing personalised support to students one-on-one, in small groups, or assisting the entire class.
• Fostering the development of life skills in students while maintaining their motivation and engagement.
• Conducting lessons and adapting teaching styles to cater to the diverse needs of all students in the classroom
