We are seeking a dynamic Marketing and Communications Manager to drive our club's growth and enhance its brand reputation through strategic marketing initiatives and effective communication strategies. This role is vital in generating leads, attracting new members, retaining existing ones, and fostering community engagement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Digital Engagement Lead and collaborate with Sales and IT on automated messaging.
  • Serve as a brand guardian ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
  • Develop and execute tailored marketing campaigns to attract and retain members.
  • Plan and execute targeted digital marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Generate compelling content for website, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Manage and maintain the club's social media presence.
  • Coordinate and execute promotional events and special promotions.
  • Monitor digital analytics and track performance metrics to optimise content and campaigns.
  • Lead the Marketing and Communications budget and assist in setting pricing strategies and annual budgets.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with local media, industry press, influencers, and community partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field; or proven experience in digital marketing, website management, SEO.
  • Experience in line management and team development.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in social media management platforms, website CMS, and email marketing software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimise digital initiatives.
  • Creative thinker with innovative digital engagement strategies.
  • Experience in managing third-party software and integrations.
