We have a brilliant opportunity for an experienced production engineer to join our fast-paced, dynamic and passionate team.

As part of the production engineering team you will be responsible for advising designers about relevant manufacturing issues and dealing with general manufacturing queries from your colleagues, sub-contract suppliers and customers.

You will have production engineering responsibility across multiple projects, requiring good initiative and ingenuity and working to tight deadlines.

Your sound working knowledge of manufacturing, will be key to you developing Xtrac’s processes and manufacturing techniques.

You will be a confident, flexible, self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills and a clear understanding of working with procedures, controls, and quality standards.

Qualified to HNC/HND level in an engineering related discipline, ideally you will have at least three years post qualifying experience within a production engineering team in manufacturing.

You will have the ability to work under pressure, have a robust approach to problem solving and an ability to forge good working relationships with your colleagues.

Strong influencing skills are essential, along with good organisational and IT skills. CAD experience is required, and ideally NX 3D, although training will be provided.
