In partnership with our client, we are seeking a talented and experiences Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Thatcham.

In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in:

  • Optimising Production: Analyse current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to streamline operations and maximise efficiency.
  • Driving Innovation: Develop manufacturing methods for new and developmental vehicles, ensuring seamless integration into production.
  • Quality & Compliance: Champion safety and quality by ensuring all processes adhere to H&S regulations and industry standards (ISO 9001, PPAP, APQP, etc.).
  • Knowledge & Expertise: Leverage your understanding of process instruction creation, document control, BOM generation, MRP, Lean Manufacturing, VSM, and more.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with production, engineering, and suppliers to ensure smooth NPI coordination, material sourcing, and process optimisation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct and maintain process risk assessments, update work instructions, and actively contribute to departmental KPI reviews.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience as a Manufacturing Process Engineer (or similar)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and results-oriented work ethic
