The company currently has three active projects, each ranging from 4-8 units, and is poised for significant growth with upcoming projects in the pipeline between 20-30 units.
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our client's team. This role is ideal for someone from a small to medium-sized business background, accustomed to a hands-on approach in various aspects of project management and commercial activities such as take-offs and variations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee residential projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Manage all aspects of project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Conduct take-offs and handle project variations efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the commercial team to ensure financial accuracy and accountability.
- Engage with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to build strong working relationships and ensure project objectives are met.
- Implement best practices in project management and promote continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management within the residential construction sector.
- Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in take-offs and managing variations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different locations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
