Suffolk/Norfolk (IP22)

Commutable from - Thetford, Eye, Diss, Norwich, Bungay, Beccles, Stowmarket, Long Stratton

X1 Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm - 47,000

X1 Monday-Friday 9:30pm-6am - 54,000

Our client is a leading industrial food manufacturer, part of a multi-billion-pound global group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to engineering departmental growth, they are looking for 2 experienced electrically biased to work on either perm lates or perm nights shift.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all reactive and schedule maintenance on industrial processing & production machinery
  • Electrical & mechanical fault finding and repairs
  • Control panels - fault finding, testing & inspections
  • Installation & commissioning of new machinery
  • Site services - boilers, steam, water treatment systems
  • Dealing with motors, star delta, PLC's, gearboxes, inverters, sensors, drives, pneumatics
  • Working at heights and in confined spaces

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Looking for multi-skilled engineers - both electrically biased
  • Must have at least 10 years' experience working as a maintenance engineer
  • Worked previously in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong electrical & mechanical fault finding & repair skills
  • Worked on control panels, motors, sensors, inverters, star delta
  • Ideally apprenticeship trained
  • Level 3 qualified or higher electrically
  • 17th or 18th Edition
  • C&G 2391 Electrical Testing & Inspection - advantageous
  • Comfortable working on industrial machinery, in confined spaces and at heights
  • Any welding experience would be great
