What will you be responsible for as their newly appointed Senior Safety Engineer?

  • Ensures design adherence to Functional Safety standards (e.g., ISO 16949 IEC 61508 for industrial)
  • Verification and validation of safety-critical systems
  • Incorporates multiple safety components
  • Maintains highest level of safety and reliability
  • Responsible for test planning, design, execution, results, and reports
  • Supports Engineering Manager Certification, Test and Simulation, and VP of Engineering

What do you need to be able to demonstrate in order to be shortlisted for Senior Safety Engineer?

  • Degree qualified within an engineering related subject (ideally, Aerospace, Automotive or Electrical Engineering) 
  • Substantial experience of working in a similar role 
  • Strong hands on experience of verification and validation engineering from a compliance perspective 
  • Commutable distance from site (please note due to the nature of the role and the client there will not be an opportunity to work remotely) 
  • Ability to work in the UK without visa restrictions, our client are not able to provide immediate or future sponsorship requests
