What will you be responsible for as their newly appointed Senior Safety Engineer?
- Ensures design adherence to Functional Safety standards (e.g., ISO 16949 IEC 61508 for industrial)
- Verification and validation of safety-critical systems
- Incorporates multiple safety components
- Maintains highest level of safety and reliability
- Responsible for test planning, design, execution, results, and reports
- Supports Engineering Manager Certification, Test and Simulation, and VP of Engineering
What do you need to be able to demonstrate in order to be shortlisted for Senior Safety Engineer?
- Degree qualified within an engineering related subject (ideally, Aerospace, Automotive or Electrical Engineering)
- Substantial experience of working in a similar role
- Strong hands on experience of verification and validation engineering from a compliance perspective
- Commutable distance from site (please note due to the nature of the role and the client there will not be an opportunity to work remotely)
- Ability to work in the UK without visa restrictions, our client are not able to provide immediate or future sponsorship requests
