Shift Patterns:

  • Day Shifts: Wk1 - 06:00-16:00, Wk - 2 08:30-19:30
  • Night Shifts: 7:30pm-5:30am (Mon-Thurs) and 4:00pm-2:00am (Fri)

About the Role:

We are currently seeking two skilled Maintenance Engineers, one for day shifts and one for night shifts, to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility in Thirsk. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliable operation of our plant.

Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Engineer

  • Perform a full spectrum of maintenance tasks to ensure optimal plant operation (50%).
  • Employ predictive maintenance techniques to assess and enhance plant condition (5%).
  • Develop new maintenance workflows and implement equipment reliability improvements (5%).
  • Optimise processes for maximum efficiency and reliability (5%).
  • Manage critical spares and maintain budget adherence (5%).
  • Oversee projects and ensure strict compliance with safety standards (10%).

Who We Are Looking For: Maintenance Engineer

  • Experience with electro-mechanical fault finding.
  • Proficiency in preventive maintenance and familiarity with permit to work systems.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, capable of leading training and managing tasks.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.
