English and Maths Tutor

Prospero teaching is currently looking for a Tutors to support a student in year 9 with English and Maths in Thirsk (YO7) . The opportunity: We are looking for a Tutor to provide support a student in year 9 , 10 hours per week.on a 1:1 basis using a nurturing approach. The Tutor will support with English and Maths (Functional skills) . Hours will need to be split between 2 days You will be a vital part of their development so the ideal candidate will have a patient and empathetic attitude. To be eligible for this role you must: Hold the right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional references covering 2 years Qualifications needed: QTS or equivalent Relevant teaching experience Be creative and patient Contract/Position Details: Location -Thirsk (YO7) .
