We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated supply pool, supporting a range of primary schools across the Thornton, Bispham and Fleetwood area from September 2025. This is a fantastic chance to secure long-term, term-time work one to three terms in length (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm), providing vital support to schools and their students. You will be matched to a school based on your location and preference of commute.

As a valued member of our supply team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absence, including sickness, class leadership time, and PPA cover. Your responsibilities will be varied and engaging, requiring:

  • Delivering work to a class of 30 students independently.
  • Strong classroom management skills to create a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively across Year 1 to Year 6, embracing the unique needs of each age group.
  • The ability to follow pre-prepared plans and, at times, plan and deliver engaging lessons independently.

What we're looking for:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification with demonstrable prior experience in a primary school setting OR a HLTA qualification.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
