Children's Team Manager – Phoenix House

Our Client, a South West Local Authority, is seeking a Children's Team Manager to join its Children and Families Team based out of Phoenix House EX16 6SA.  

Fantastic payrate of £48 per hour ***Including a weekly accommodation/commuter travel allowance of up to £150 per week for those living 50 miles or more from their work base***

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Support children and young people located in Tiverton.
  • Deliver high-quality social care services.
  • Our client is embedding their new restorative practice approach across their teams and making significant investment in training all practitioners and managers to build, maintain and repair relationships with their children and families.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must be experienced as a Team Manager in Safeguarding and Court work.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills to lead, support and develop the team.
  • Must be able to commit to being on site in Tiverton for 5 days every other week and then as required e.g. for training during non-duty weeks (the accommodation/commuter travel allowance of up to £150 per week can be utilised for the purposes of this.)
