Axcis Education are looking for a teaching assist who will be working in a SEND hub in a secondary school in Tiverton. This SEND hub predominantly has Autistic needs, but also deals with pupils with complex needs and disabilities. This school is committed to providing an inclusive, safe and secure school environment, by supporting students too help them reach their full potential and prepare them for life after school. The candidate the school is looking for would ideally need experience in Special educational need and disabilities whether that it personally or professionally.
This job is for both full time and part time positions, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Pay: 85-90 a day

The school is looking for someone who is:
- Motivated and positive
- Patient and calm minded
- Reliable and flexible
- Able to their initiative and be adaptable
- SEN/SEMH experience is essential
- Experience working within the education sector is an advantage but would not be essential
