Join a well-resourced and popular Science Department, where we have a relentless focus on raising achievement. We are looking for a creative and inspiring Science Teacher to contribute to our full suite of Science subjects across various Key Stages. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers to develop their careers in a supportive and innovative environment.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Teach Science subjects across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including AQA Triple Science, AQA Trilogy combined science, and A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Deliver a bespoke curriculum based on the AQA KS3 Science syllabus.
  • Contribute to the Level 3 BTEC Extended Certificate in Applied Science programme.
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Science, Key Stage leads, and Lead Practitioners to enhance the Science curriculum.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the department’s success.
  • Inspire students through outstanding teaching practices and a passion for Science.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A degree in a relevant Science subject.
  • Recent, relevant teaching experience at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Outstanding classroom practitioner with the ability to inspire students.
  • Suitable for Early Career Teachers looking to develop their teaching skills.
