BMB Logistics, a growing company in the logistics industry, is seeking a motivated Transport Planner to join our team in Paddock Wood, Kent. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a minimum of 3 years' transport planning experience looking to take their career to the next level.
About the Role:
- You will develop and implement efficient transport plans to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
- You will negotiate rates and liaise with carriers to secure the best possible deals.
- You will monitor and track shipments to ensure smooth operation.
- Your Class 1 truck driving license will give you a unique understanding of the logistical challenges faced by drivers.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of 3 years' experience in transport planning.
- Holds a valid Class 1 truck driving license.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can demonstrate strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
