Reed is working with a sector-leading special school, currently looking for qualified teachers to join their dedicated team. The school provides education for pupils with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, and pupils on the autistic spectrum. The role may involve working across both the main site and a satellite provision.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Delivering tailored education to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
  • Planning, preparing, and assessing lessons to meet individual learning objectives.
  • Collaborating with other professionals to support the holistic development of pupils.
  • Engaging with pupils to facilitate their academic and social development.
  • Contributing to the school community with a flexible and adaptable approach.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience of teaching children with complex ASD is essential for one of the posts.
  • Open to teachers with special school or mainstream experience, as well as newly qualified teachers.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and wellbeing of all children.
  • Willingness to work across multiple sites as required.
