Customer Experience Manager

The Princess Theatre holds a prominent position on the seafront, seating just over 1,500 and hosting a variety of shows including large scale musicals, plays, comedy and music. We are currently undergoing an exciting refurbishment and look forward to reopening in July to some fantastic weeklong shows including, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Sister Act. The Teatro Bistro forms part of the building running along the promenade, offering customers and diners a spectacular sea view across the bay. Torquay is an exciting, ambitious town, growing in opportunity and can provide an attractive quality of life plus benefits and support for candidates considering a relocation. To Note: You will carry out Duty Management shifts which will include some evenings.

As our new Customer Experience Manager you'll help us re-establish excellent standards of service as we welcome our customers back, and take the lead on developing our offer for the future. You'll be responsible for the front of house staff and operation, whether they're welcoming audiences in for a show or to one of our food and beverage outlets, including a daytime cafe and takeaway kiosk, pre-show dining service and two bars in our beautiful venue. 

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading customer facing teams, with experience in food and beverage, catering or hospitality management and delivery, with the ability to embed high standards while developing new business opportunities. This is an ideal position if you are looking for a new challenge in a busy, dynamic, and developing venue.
