Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support to the manufacturing processes, collaborating with product management and engineering teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager:

  • Provide technical support for product/process design and functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Product Engineering teams.
  • Manage technical issue escalation from manufacturing.
  • Implement and maintain LEAN and Continuous Improvement practices.
  • Achieve budget targets for cost reduction.
  • Oversee NPI transfer to production and optimise costs.
  • Support training initiatives and process improvements.
  • Establish and maintain clean room operational standards.
  • Promote a culture of Manufacturing Engineering excellence.
  • Assist Quality, 3 rd Party Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Managers to meet customer needs.
  • Manage COPQ data collection and presentation.

Skills Required for Manufacturing Engineering Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years minimum of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong technical skills in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
  • Knowledge of LEAN and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Green or Black belt Six Sigma (or similar)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Confidence to do presentations.
