Full time and permanent Kitchen vacancy available on a full time and permanent basis in a luxury hotel near Towcester, South Northamptonshire. Due to promotion and continued growth, we are now seeking a CDP (Chef De Partie) OR strong Commis Chef to work on a full time and permanent basis.Salary £27’500 + overtime + excellent benefits.Rota 5 out of 7 days per week, 45 hours per week, a mixture of shifts including evenings and weekends.Possible onsite accommodation available for the right candidate.The successful candidate:• Must have experience of working in a busy kitchen environment as part of a team• Should be working as a Chef De Partie (CDP) or strong Commis Chef (min)• Will be able to drive, hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to reliable vehicle• Shall possess their own knives or have the means to purchase them (desirable)• Might have prior experience of working for a fine dining restaurant (desirable)• Can work as part of a team and build professional working relationships within the kitchen• Could be looking for an opportunity to expand current kitchen knowledge and be seeking training or development opportunities• Should be able to produce evidence of stable employment history in the form of an up to date CV and references• Must possess a Level 2 (or higher) Food Hygiene certification • May have worked in leisure, spa, golf resort, fine dining, luxury environments (desirable)• Might have an in date enhanced DBS clearance (desirable)• Could have been to culinary school and/or learned how to cook on the job• Should be experienced in working with fresh produce (desirable)• Will have a good palette for savoury and sweet food groups• Must know their way around a commercial kitchen and not rely on ‘Chef Mic’• Shall possess a natural initiative and have the ability to source solutions on their own as they arise• Will be reliable, flexible, adaptable and communicative both verbally and in writingBenefits:• 28 days annual leave• Use of spa, swimming pool and gym facilities• Meal on duty and access to non-alcoholic drinks• Employee awards and celebrations• Career development opportunities• Up to 50% discounts on accommodation / products / treatments / food & beverage etc• Possibility of onsite accommodation at c.£60 per week• AND MORE….Contact:• Cheryl Wilson• Wilson Recruitment Ltd• 12a Queensbridge, Northampton, NN4 7BF• Please note, you can apply for this role on our company website Wilson Recruitment Ltd
