An Ayrshire-based manufacturing company are looking to hire a Plant Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a critical appointment for the business the successful candidate will assume responsibility for all phases of plant operations including material handling, electrical generation, maintenance, quality and health & safety.

Key Duties:

  • Work with H&S Manager to drive a safety culture throughout the plant. Ensure policies and protocols are adhered to at all times creating a safe environment for all personnel on site
  • Full managerial responsibility for CHP Plant and associated equipment
  • Overseeing production KPIs
  • Lead, develop and facilitate career development for team of CHP operators
  • Manage production costs and protect profitability of the plant
  • Ensure plant is fully compliant with relevant legislation
  • Manage key customers and ensure expectations and standards are met

What youll need:

  • Plant supervisory experience ideally from within heavy engineering/biomass/energy
  • Health & Safety experience
  • Strong leadership ability
  • Excellent communication skills
