Escape Recruitment are recruiting for an Engineering Technician for an exciting opportunity with one of our clients who are an established company that design, manufacture and install various bespoke engineering products. This will be a part-time role, working 3 days per week, predominantly based at their Ayrshire site with travel throughout Scotland and England to customer sites.
The role:
- Manufacture, service and install various electronic equipment.
- Communicate with key customers and suppliers, providing relevant information.
- Assembly and testing of products and systems in the factory and onsite.
- Diagnose faults and repair products and systems.
- Travel to customer sites throughout Scotland and England.
- Get involved in the development process from initial design stage through to delivery.
About you:
- Educated to HNC/HND level in engineering discipline is desirable.
- Practical experience with electronic wiring, soldering and fault finding. Mechanical skills and experience would be advantageous.
- Full valid driving licence.
