The School and Role

I have a number of specialist schools across Wiltshire, including Trowbridge, that require Teaching Assistants on a flexible basis to support children complex needs and disabilities.  

You will be supporting children either 1:1 or in the general class. You will need to be reliable and flexible as each day is different!

The hours are between 8:50 – 15:20 Monday to Friday, term-time only.

You must be available for ‘on the day’ bookings and some long-term roles are available too. You can choose the days you are available to work.

Requirements

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Friendly and nurturing qualities
  • A desire to support children with special educational needs and disabilities
  • A caring, patient nature
  • Well organised and flexible
