We're looking for a confident, outgoing individual who is eager to dive into the intricacies of financial analysis and reporting.

Who We're Looking For:

We need a dynamic individual who exudes confidence in their knowledge and skills, capable of working independently towards targets while also collaborating effectively within a team and reporting to directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in Excel, able to create complex spreadsheets with formulas effortlessly.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 programs and functions.
  • Understanding of financial operations within a business and the significance of reporting to the CEO.
  • Experience with Freeagent & Xero accounts packages, working closely with the CEO on financial matters and reports.
  • Reconciliation of accounts, invoicing, financial forecasting, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with external accountants on end-of-year accounts and actively recognize the impact of profit versus assets on Corporation tax.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of costs to support decision-making processes.

Location:

The role is based near Chiverton Cross, with additional sites in Penzance and Redruth, each equipped with hot desks.

Hours:

Minimum hours are 10-16 per week, but there is potential for the role to become full-time with added duties supporting the CEO.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven expertise in Excel and other Microsoft 365 programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Prior experience in financial monitoring and reporting roles preferred.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
