We are pleased to be working with a passionate and supportive company as they search for Nurses to join their Clinical Homecare team. You will be a part of an innovative and inspirational team, that have a true passion for providing enhanced nursing services to patients in the comfort of their own home.

You will be joining a team where you will have the opportunity to assist with Patient Support Programmes and will implement, develop and deliver clinical services where required.

Your responsibilities as a Community Nurse:

  • Support and deliver care to patients within their home environment
  • To be confident without supervision, to teach patients/carers on the self-administration of therapies or administration of therapies to their patients by ensuring specific protocols are adhered to
  • Assess patients plan to ensure the level of care will support and assist the patient/carer & will provide a seamless transition between hospital and homecare in accordance with treatment requirements
  • Ensuring accurate patient care related activities are recorded in accordance with our client's SOP, professional and regulatory guidelines and work instructions
  • Ensuring standards of nursing practices are compliant, competent and work to the NMC code at all times

As a successful Community Nurse, you will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Be a Registered Nurse, part 1 of the NMC Register
  • Current RCN membership
  • ENB 998 qualification and or teaching experience or qualification
  • 5 years experience, ideally in a clinical setting
  • Experience in the administration of Sub-cutaneous therapies, cannulation and phlebotomy skills, care of IV devices and IV therapies
  • Full driving licence with access to own transport which is insured for business use
