Techniche is supporting a leading automation organization, assisting them in hiring a new Electrical Design Engineer for their Tunbridge Wells office. The company is open to candidates with a range of experience, from seasoned engineers to those at a more junior level. The company is an international Engineering and Technology organization specializing in Operational Technology, Process Control, Safety Shutdown Systems, and Metering/Measurement Instrumentation. Their projects scope spans EPCM level projects, Systems Integration, and Vendor responsibility. The role of Electrical Design Engineer is based at the company’s primary UK Engineering site in Tunbridge Wells. It involves supporting the design of Electrical Systems for Oil & Gas applications, including customized skid-mounted systems, as well as a variety of cabinet and rack/enclosure-based solutions. This encompasses both Measurement & Metering skid solutions and Electrical Control systems, including electrical cabinets and electrical distribution systems. Our client is open to considering candidates from various industry backgrounds. While experience in Oil & Gas is not essential, knowledge of Electrical Design in similar regulated environments would be advantageous.The role offers a starting salary of £40k, depending on experience and sector knowledge, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes a private pension (up to 11% matched), a 5% employee bonus scheme, private healthcare, life assurance, etc. The position is primarily office-based, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week.
