I am seeking a talented and experienced Personal Tax Manager to join a reputable firm based in Tunbridge Wells. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse client base including high-net-worth individuals, private equity executives, entrepreneurs, and trusts. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client service and managing complex tax affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong client relationships.
  • Manage a portfolio of personal clients focusing on HNWIs, private equity executives, entrepreneurs, and trusts.
  • Ensure timely compliance with client and regulatory deadlines, monitoring time limits and elections.
  • Proactively engage with clients on advisory matters and assist with tax planning projects including succession planning, capital gains, and inheritance tax issues.
  • Handle HMRC enquiries, disclosures, and correspondence.
  • Oversee billing and budget monitoring for assigned projects.
  • Review compliance and basic advisory work prepared by junior team members.
  • Mentor and support junior staff members in technical and personal development.
  • Deliver technical training sessions.
  • Engage in personal and team business development activities.
  • Stay updated on technical knowledge and ensure adherence to internal procedures.
