Location: These are regional based roles based in one of the following locations: North Essex, Tunbridge Wells. Please state which region you are applying for.

Salary: Competitive

Hours: You’ll have the flexibility to choose a contract between 3 to 5 days per week, and enjoy the stability of a set salary, rather than working on commission.

Our client is proud to support a major recruitment campaign for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) as they search for interested people to support their membership growth.

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity that allows you to integrate your passion for nature with your exceptional communication skills? Nature is in crisis and the RSPB needs your help! Join them at Europe’s largest nature conservation charity and make a real difference as a Membership Fundraiser!

The Role

Each day you will travel to different venues, set up an attractive fundraising stand, and spend the day actively engaging with members of the public, spreading awareness about our conservation efforts and generating new RSPB memberships via direct debits.

Don’t worry if you’re not a wildlife expert yet – they provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the knowledge you need. Plus, you’ll enjoy the added perk of a company van, with fuel and parking costs paid for.

What’s even better? You’ll have the flexibility to choose a contract between 3 to 5 days per week, and enjoy the stability of a set salary, rather than working on commission. With 34 days of annual leave (including bank holidays) and opportunities for sabbaticals, we value your work-life balance and well-being.

They are looking for starters to join from May/June and reserve the right to close this vacancy once sufficient applications have been received.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A passion for conservation;
  • Ability to work to targets;
  • A driver’s licence valid for use in the UK;
  • Happy to work 3 out of 4 weekends;
  • Willingness to work outdoors and independently;
  • Fundraising/Sales and Customer Service experience advantageous.
