Our Client is one of the UK’s leading Independent Distributors of Construction Materials led by a dynamic Senior Management Team and is undertaking a period of expansion due to success.

As a result of their exciting growth plans our Client is seeking to recruit Senior Internal Sales Specialists who are experienced in the Construction Material Distribution Sector and are driven by success.

Our Client is willing to offer a highly attractive salary package comprising of an extremely attractive basic salary coupled with an exceptional individual rewards package to ensure high achievers are suitably rewarded.

You will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key customers, as well as identifying and closing new sales opportunities with a customer base including 2nd Line Builders Merchants, Specialist Merchants, Specialist Distributors, and Stockholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound leads and proactively seek out new sales opportunities through phone and email
  • Manage the sales process from start to finish, including identifying potential clients, creating proposals, and closing deals
  • Work closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure that all aspects of the project run smoothly and that customer expectations are met
  • Continuously evaluate and improve your sales processes
  • Communicate with other departments and stakeholders as necessary to ensure smooth sales operation

The Requirements

  • Experience working in and/or dealing with the construction industry
  • Proven organisational skills & planning ability
  • Be self-motivated and driven
  • Sales Account management
  • Ability to work on own initiative & within a team
  • A superb relationship-building ability
  • A proven track record and ability to consistently achieve monthly and quarterly Sales targets
