HR Manager - Full-time or Part-time considered - £45,000 + Benefits

Our client is an established firm of solicitors with 8 offices across South-West London, Middlesex and Surrey.

This is an exceptional place to work, taking great pride in their commitment to quality, customer service, personal service and the accessibility of their lawyers.

They have a rare opportunity for an experienced and pragmatic HR Manager to manage the overall HR function in a stand-alone capacity and to provide professional HR support and guidance to the partners, managers, and employees of the firm. The role is on-site, providing visibility across the offices.

Key Duties will include:

  • Oversee recruitment processes
  • Preparing and issuing contracts
  • Provide advice and support to line managers on day-to-day employment issues
  • Operate as the main contact point for more intricate employee relation matters while providing a high level of professional advice and support in matters associated with grievance, performance and discipline
  • Oversee HR internal matters including but not limited to; on-boarding processes, monitoring employee attendance levels and review performance reviews to ensure the line managers to ensure operating standards are adhered
  • Undertake disciplinary and grievance investigations
  • Regularly review benefits, pay structures and rewards

The successful candidate will have:

  • Solid generalist HR experience, including recruitment and on-boarding
  • Demonstrable experience, ideally within professional services
  • Strong organisational and listening skills, patient and understanding
  • CIPD level 5 qualification essential ( level 7 desirable)
  • Good IT skills, including HRIS desirable
