Vehicle Delivery Driver
Client overview:
The Employment Group are working with a new and used vehicle supplier. The new and used cars are stored on sites across the UK, ready for delivery. Vans and cars are imported or purchased, service, valeted and undergo specification upgrades. Cars are delivered to customer's doors where the features of vehicle will be demonstrated by the delivery driver, offering a personal service.
Job Description:
Delivery of vehicles around the UK, following delivery or collection form the customer (which could be anywhere in the UK), you will demonstrate the vehicle features of the vehicle and work with IT platforms on a company provided tablet. You will need to be mindful of health and safety regulations both on the vehicle compound site and on the road. Shift times are start and finish, which could be 8am to 5pm or for longer distance deliveries, you could travel to Scotland and fly, or drive back.
Your responsibilities as a Vehicle Delivery Driver include:
- A valid driving licence is essential
- Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times, and deliver the vehicle in a timely and professional manner
- Make sure the car is fully fuelled/charged before delivery, using a company fuel card
- Arrange your return journey via the ticketing app on the tablet, before travelling
- Problem solving any issues that may arise during the delivery journey/handover process
Shift Times:
Depend on the location of the delivery; Job and finish, no set times but generally between 8am and 5pm
Pay Rates:
11.44 per hour
