Major Recruitment are seeking an experienced Training Manager to join our clients HR team in this newly created role based at their Uttoxeter site. Our client is a leading confectionary business and have been in production since 1928, supplying the nation with some of the UK's most enjoyed snacks.

The primary focus of the Training Manager will be to identify training needs, designing relevant training programs, and implementing them along with the support of the training facilitators and assessors. As a Training Manager, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure employees receive the necessary training to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Responsibilities of Training Manager:

Ensuring strategic alignment of the training department with business goals
Evaluating individual and organisational performance to ensure training is meeting business needs and improving performance
Identifying training needs by consulting with stakeholders and using needs assessments
Developing and delivering training solutions that meet business needs
Optimising training processes for efficiency
Selecting and managing resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training
Leading the team of 2 Training Facilitators

Skills required to be a successful Training Manager:

Knowledge of up-to-date learning and development best practices
A proven track record of designing, development of new training programs
Excellent leadership skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to influence at all levels
A keen eye for detail
Ability to assess training needs and develop appropriate solutions
Experience with Apprenticeships schemes and management of levy funds
Professional certification, such as CPTM/CIPD/AET, is preferred
