We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative SEND Lecturer to join our client's dedicated and welcoming team in West London. This role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of adults with special needs.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan and deliver differentiated work to meet individual needs, ensuring progression, continuity, and quality of learning.
  • Manage and direct teaching teams to provide effective, learner-centred learning opportunities.
  • Accurately assess needs, deliver teaching reflective of these needs, and measure progress.
  • Work within a structured timetable: 36 hours per week, 39 working weeks, from 8.45 am – 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45 am to 4.15 pm on Friday.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must hold a Certificate of Education (CertEd) upon appointment, an equivalent teaching qualification, or be currently undertaking or willing to undertake the CertEd.
  • Hold Level 2 Maths and English qualifications or be willing to enrol on our internal functional skills course within the first year of employment and complete the course within 2 years.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute effective teaching strategies.
  • Strong commitment to enhancing the educational experience of students with special needs.
