Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Remote - EU Travel

Do you thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment? We are searching for a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our client, a global beverage company and play a key role in maintaining the integrity of their products.

 

The Advocate Group is leading the search for a brand newly created position for an experienced Quality Assurance professional to drive quality standards in manufacturing processes across bottling partners in EMEA, with a particular focus on Europe.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing QA leadership and manage from quality perspective assigned projects (quality project like new site approval, and new line approval, NPD projects).
  • Organized, facilitate and tracking the quality assurance validation activities.
  • Managing and tracking the Non-Conformances, root cause analysis investigation. Manage and tracking implementation of the corrective actions and preventive actions.
  • Manage and provide direction to the QMS coordinator and the QAE junior during investigations into consumer complaints.
  • Build effective relationships with customers, suppliers, contract manufacturers & internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively to all levels of the business, including senior management, peers, colleagues, partners & direct reports.
  • Conducting scheduled external Quality / Food Safety Management System Audits (GMP) as assigned.
  • Attending and monitoring first quality trial productions for new sites (and new lines) as assigned.
  • Travel to the co packing & supplier production sites, across the European region as required to support investigations, provide technical support to trial productions from quality perspective, ensure appropriate change control, and to conduct GMP Audits.
  • Deputize the QAD as required (deputize the QAD on incident management when required).
  • Analysing data, interpreting & then reporting as requested (external lab analysis, NPD data and Quality metrics, scorecard).
  • Implement new procedures & improve the existing procedures as part of the Monster Energy QMS.
  • Manage, train, develop and give leadership to direct reports.

 

The Ideal Experience:

  • A science degree or equivalent, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, Life Sciences or other related technical degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience within the Quality function of a Food & Beverage organisation.
  • Must be able to perform with minimal direction at high level
  • Experience of QMS Auditing preferable
  • Experience of Non-Conformance and Incident Management
  • Experience with statistical analysis.
  • Leadership skills
  • Fully computer literate (Microsoft Office)
